The Week Nothing Happened (But Everything Changed)

My first week post-launch. Two followers. One emil unsubscribe. A partnership offer(Not Sure). And the realization that building isn't always visible.

This week was full of ups and downs… mostly downs.

When I launched PresenceOS, I felt really happy.

Monday went by in excitement. I barely did anything productive — I was just happy that the platform was finally live.

The next day, I checked Twitter.

I had gained only 2 followers. One was my friend. The other was probably random 😄

Still, I was happy seeing my posts slowly getting impressions — 2 views, then 10. Nothing huge. But for me it meant something important:

I had finally started putting my thoughts out into the world.

But even after 24 hours, nobody had registered on the platform.

That hit me a little.

So on Tuesday, I decided to try founder outreach. I used Apollo, made a list of founders, and sent emails asking them to test PresenceOS.

Again, I waited.

Nothing happened.

Maybe I trusted the Apollo list too much. Maybe I targeted the wrong people.

But then one person replied:

"Unsubscribe."

And honestly… I still felt happy 😄

Because at least someone saw the email.

That's when something clicked.

People are probably seeing things. It just takes time. Everyone is busy. Sometimes emails go to spam. Sometimes people notice something today and act weeks later.

So I told myself not to panic.

At the same time, some people from my own network tested the platform, created accounts, and gave me genuine feedback.

That made me really happy. Because now I finally had real user feedback to work with.

So I decided: this week, I won't touch the code much. I'll focus more on understanding people.

That's why I joined a small event with around 30 people invited.

Honestly, it turned out to be one of the best things I did this week.

I connected with around 7 founders and business people. For me, even 7 meaningful conversations felt valuable.

The good thing? Almost everyone loved the PresenceOS idea.

They gave feedback, suggestions, and asked interesting questions.

But the event also taught me something: I still need to improve my networking skills.

I watched people moving fast — actively engaging, introducing themselves confidently, building connections naturally.

I'm decent at it. But I know I can become much better.

I also realized I need to find the right events — places where my actual end users exist.

Then something unexpected happened.

The organizing company liked PresenceOS and even discussed potential partnership ideas. They suggested their tools could integrate into our recommendation system in the future.

That felt exciting.

And then came the most surprising moment of the week.

One midnight, while feeling frustrated, I sent an email to a CEO I had met at an event in Bangalore last year.

Back then, I had only shared the PresenceOS idea with him.

This time, I finally had a working product.

So I thought: "Let's just send the email and see what happens."

I honestly didn't expect a reply.

But he replied.

And surprisingly, he replied faster than the founders I cold-emailed 😄

His response was short and humble:

"Keep updating."

That small message genuinely made me happy.

So overall, this week was strange.

Part of me felt sad. Part of me felt hopeful.

But I think I finally understood something important:

Building trust takes time.

I still need to sharpen the platform. I still need to create more content and awareness.

And maybe the hardest part: I need to keep believing even when the internet feels silent.

Honestly, I can't fully explain this week.

On the outside, it looks like I did almost nothing.

But mentally?

I think I grew more this week than I did in the last two months combined.
